Start a team, collect donations, and celebrate with a mini-bowling party!

Big Brothers Big Sisters Lincoln invites you to join us for this year's Bowl For Kids' Sake (BFKS)! This signature fundraiser is celebrated by hundreds of BBBS agencies across the country. Every year, half a million people across America come together to have fun and raise money to support their local Big Brothers Big Sisters program. Once our campaign ends, we host a BIG bowling celebration for our fundraising teams.

This year's party will take place at Bob and Willie's Wonderbowl, featuring mini-bowling! The theme is Cosmic Bowl!

Sounds like a blast, right? Here is how it works:

1) Create a team: As team captain, recruit 4-6 rock stars to join you in making a difference. These can be anyone - friends, colleagues, and family members are popular picks.

Joining a team isn't a requirement either - If you would like to create a solo fundraising page or simply donate to our campaign, that is also welcome!

2) Set up your team's fundraising page: Once you have a team, click "Start Fundraising" (found above). This will walk you through creating a fundraising page for you and your team.

It is only necessary for the team captain to create a fundraising page. The team captain's page will be given a custom URL that should be shared with teammates to spread the word!

After you click "Start Fundraising," you will be prompted to either create a Network For Good Account or to log in with an existing one. You may already have an account, especially if you've donated to us in the past. If you cannot remember your password, click "Forgot Your Password?" to reset your password.

Feel free to spice up your page as well! Get creative, and have fun!

We ask that each team aims to reach a goal of $500. This is not a requirement, but our suggestion for your team's goal. Your team can continue fundraising until the day of the bowling party (October 6-7).

Make sure to click "Submit For Review" when you finish creating your fundraising page! Once you receive a confirmation email, your team's page is ready to go.

3) Start fundraising! Connect with potential donors and shoot for the goal you've set. Your fundraising page is automatically given templates to use for social posts and emails, so feel free to edit and make use of them while reaching out!

Templates for social posts and emails are found at the top of your fundraising page after it has been approved. If you would like to share them with team members, we recommend copying/pasting the templates and sending them to your team!

4) Celebrate! After your campaign ends, the party begins! As our main event approaches, sign-up forms will be sent out to team captains to reserve a date/time to enjoy a game of bowling with other supporters in our community! We appreciate all of the efforts our fundraisers put into BFKS, and we want to reward you for contributing to the impact that mentoring brings to Lincoln's young people.

BBBS Lincoln is excited to bring back this long-held tradition, but we need your help! The work our fundraising teams put in will bring a wider range of activities to our matches, provide valuable training/resources to volunteer mentors and families of mentees, support mentor recruitment, and allow us to continue providing mentoring experiences that empower potential in our youth.
